Why we expand gripes into articles

A sentiment score tells you a tool has friction; it does not tell you whether the friction applies to you. The deep dives exist so you can check each gripe against your own use case: if you will never hit the plan limit, the plan-limit gripe does not matter to you, and the score is more conservative than your reality. If you will hit it in month two, you want to know now.

All three articles draw from the same 205-mention verified set described on the methodology page.

How to read these

Each deep dive is 400-600 words and follows the same structure: the symptom, the mechanics, the cost, the workarounds, and our verdict. If you only read one, read the one matching the gripe most likely to affect your use case. The verdicts are calibrated to be useful even if you ultimately buy the tool anyway.

From the mention set

These articles exist because our verified-mention collection keeps growing: 205 mentions as of September 2026, re-scored monthly. When a new gripe enters the top three, it gets a deep dive; when one falls out, the article stays but the score moves. The blog is the audit trail of the sentiment score's movement over time.
